Extended opening hours and spectacular architectural projections at the museum
The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House is proud to be part of Enlighten 2012. To celebrate, we are extending our opening hours until 11pm Saturday 3, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 March, and until 9pm Sunday 4 – Thursday 8 March.
Our beautiful building, Old Parliament House, will be illuminated and interpreted through spectacular lighting effects on the facade of the building. This year, many of the images will have a distinct Canberra flavour, as local artists produce large scale architectural projections. The museum will showcase the work of Josh Dykgraaf, Paul Summerfield and Racket.
Come along to view the projections after 8pm:
- Friday 2 March
- Saturday 3 March
- Friday 9 March
- Saturday 10 March
- Sunday 11 March
