From the oral history collection: Don Cameron
In this edited excerpt from an interview in the Oral History collection, Don Cameron recalls his election campaign for the seat of Griffith in Queensland in 1966, and the innovative loud-speaker system that helped him win.
Donald Milner Cameron was born in Brisbane in 1940. He was Member of the House of Representatives for Griffith from 1966 to 1977, for Fadden from 1977 to 1983 and for Moreton from 1983 to 1990.
He kindly donated the speakers to the museum.
