David Blumenstein

David Blumenstein is a senior service designer and a cartoonist for outlets such as Australian MAD, The Guardian and The Nib. His longform comics work includes pieces on pickup artists, the Church of Scientology, crypto and generative AI. In 2012 Blumenstein co-founded cartoonist workspace Squishface Studio. He is currently deputy president of the Australian Cartoonists Association. Recently he contributed to Cartoonists for Palestine and edited Squishbook: Make Comics with Squishface Studio and Friends! (2024), which was Highly Commended at the 2025 Victorian Premier's Literary Awards.
