On-site filming and photography
The museum has a responsibility to preserve the integrity of the Old Parliament House building and its national heritage status as well as an obligation to protect its brand and image. The museum will work to facilitate on-site filming and photography requests where it can, provided these requests do not interfere with the day-to-day operations or impact on the significant heritage fabric and values of the site. Prior permission is required for any filming or photography on-site from the museum’s Communications and Marketing section.
To get permission to film or photograph on-site, download the filming and photography request form and email it to media@moadoph.gov.au.
Media, individuals or organisations inviting media onto the museum grounds or into the building must be approved in advance by the museum’s Community Engagement Section.
On arrival at the museum
- Please make yourself known to museum staff.
- The main entrance for media is through the security entrance, under the front steps.
