The Museum of Australian Democracy acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.

The museum respectfully acknowledges the role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples continue to play in shaping Australia’s democracy.

We are excited to welcome you to MoAD this summer!

Your General Museum Pass gives you access to the authentically preserved historic spaces of Old Parliament House, our exciting contemporary exhibitions, the MoAD Shop and our little piece of Floriade in the House of Representatives Courtyard. Explore the museum at your own pace or, from this school holidays, follow our Discovery Trail with things to find, see, hear, do and try around every corner.

Once you have your General Museum Pass, book a place on a free Building History Tour which runs at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm daily. If you visit on the weekend you may have the pleasure of being guided by a colourful character from the past.

Book your tickets below and before you visit, read this important information about how we’re working together to keep everyone safe.

Please note that downloading the ACT Government’s Check In CBR App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store before your visit will make your entry at Reception faster and smoother.
