Leah is a Ngambri Ngunnawal woman and has lived in the ACT on my Ancestors Lands my whole life. I am a mum. I am a Program Manager for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Access to Justice Program at the Women’s Legal Centre and I assist with the Aboriginal Tent Embassy. I work closely with the Human Rights Commission in delivering support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC). I am on the DVPC Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Reference Group.
The Museum of Australian Democracy acknowledges Australia's First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia.
