Trump's Dogs of War

The title reads, 'Lapdogs of war.' Russian President Putin holds the leashes of dogs with the faces of US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, barely holding them back from barking at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The war in Ukraine entered its third year in February 2025, and the new Trump presidency brought a very different US approach to the conflict than that pursued by his predecessor, Joe Biden. During the election campaign Trump had often asserted he would end the war within 24 hours of being elected, confident that he could influence Russian President Vladimir Putin. Peace has proven elusive, especially after a heated Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in February.
